Fall Tune Up Part 10 – The Sensor Test 🔥

So now we know that all the safeties are working, the equipment will run. We still need to make sure that it'll turn off properly, but before I do that, I like to kind of test some of the safeties to make sure that they won't let the unit run when they shouldn't let the unit run. So for example, that flame sensor that we had earlier, I'm going to pull the wire off of it. And we should see that flame go out. That's exactly what we want to see. Now, actually I'll take it back off. You'll actually see what it would do if it had a dirty flame sensor. It would do the same thing as if the flame sensor wasn't hooked up at all. So now this time I have to put it back on because if I go three tries, it's going to lock me out. I don't want that problem.
